Origami Banger Instructions Easy Steps
Origami Banger this is one of the most entertaining of all paper folds and certainly the loudest! Practice Step 7, because good execution of the technique described will increase the volume of the bang. Use a rectangle of thin or medium-weight paper, at least 10 x I5 in. (25 x 37 cm). Larger sheets will produce louder noises.
Step Number 1 Fold one edge across to the other.
Step Number 2 Fold in the corners to the center crease.
Step Number 3 Fold in half along the step 1 crease.
Step Number 4 Mountain fold across the middle. Crease and unfold.
Step Number 5 Check that the center crease made in Step 1 is a mountain (if it’s a valley, turn the paper over), then fold the sharp corners across to the right.
Step Number 6 Mountain fold in half. Note the double corner at the X.
Step Number 7 Hold X as shown. Bend your elbow so that the Banger is behind your head, and then whip it downwards very quickly. The paper will unfold with a loud BANG if it doesn’t, check that you haven’t held the paper upside down and try to move your arm quicker.
